Maryland and DC individuals and families facing challenging times in their marriages rely on Lead Attorney Thomas Stahl to provide reliable and effective guidance when contemplating divorce. His clients have come to rely on his compassionate approach to their sensitive legal issues and tenacious dedication to protecting their rights and best interests in any action he represents.
As a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2008, Tom completed an advanced program at the Institute for Family Law Associates in 2012. During this time, he served as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. McCrone and assisted the now-retired Honorable Dennis M. Sweeney during the trial of former Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon. With these experiences, he joined the firm Silverstein & Ostovitz as an associate attorney until co-founding Spencer & Stahl, P.C., in 2015.
In addition to his experience going from a law clerk to the founder of The Law Offices of Thomas Stahl, he has had the honor of being recognized for his community leadership and professional involvement by Lawyer Legion. Since 2013, Mr. Stahl has been recognized by the Maryland Super Lawyers for his ongoing dedication and commitment to providing the highest quality of family law and estate services to his clients.
Since 2006 he has been a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and is licensed to practice in Maryland (2007) and Washington D.C. (2010). He currently serves as Co-Chair on the Rules of Practice Committee in the Maryland State Bar Association.
